About Ellsworth County Court Docket

Ellsworth County court dockets and case records are divided among the Clerk of the District Court, the courts that hear each matter, Kansas CaseSearch, and separate municipal clerks. We organize those official routes so readers can identify the proper portal, courthouse counter, address, or phone number without confusing a city citation with a Kansas District Court case.

Why We Built This Site

Kansas provides several public court-access channels, but each serves a different need. Kristy Battershell, Clerk of the District Court, keeps Ellsworth District Court records and the events index. Kansas CaseSearch displays eligible public case information. Courthouse terminals may provide public material that is not shown remotely. Municipal clerks handle city ordinance cases. We bring those distinctions, official contacts, number formats, and request steps together while keeping the originating court as the final authority.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Ellsworth County
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Kansas court, clerk, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
